FATIGUE MANAGEMENT FOR ROSTERING PERSONNEL

An estimated 30% of adults report difficulty sleeping in any given year, with almost 90% of individuals experiencing a sleep disorder at some point in their lives. Even if you are doing all the right things to optimise your sleep, and to minimise and manage fatigue-related risks, if you have an underlying sleeping problem, your efforts will be compromised and you are likely to be at greater risk of fatigue.

Likewise, many roles now require individuals to travel frequently for work, often across multiple time zones, which can also be a significant risk factor for poor sleep and fatigue impairment. Individual coaching sessions are available for personnel experiencing difficulty sleeping, those wanting to minimise the impact of travel and jet lag on health, performance and productivity, and any staff identified as being at particular risk for fatigue. These sessions can be conducted on-site, by telephone or online.
